On Thursday, 1st, April, 2021, The editor-in-chief of JHSMR (Assoc. Prof Jitti Hanprasertpong) and the editorial board member of JHSMR (Dr.Somyot Chirasatitsin) have participated in "The 4th Workshop on System and Quality Development for Thai Journals in Scopus Project" hosted by the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) collaborated with the Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), the School of Energy, Environment and Materials at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) and the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC). The workshop was held at Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn, Bangkok, Thailand.

The 14 th Postgrauate forum on Health Systems and policies:
Research in the Era of universal Health Coverage during and after COVID-19 Pandermic

On Friday 21st August 2020, Assoc. Prof. Jitti Hanprasertpong (the Editor-in-Chief of JHSMR) and Dr. Somyot Chirasatitsin (the editorial board member of JHSMR) were invited to attend the meeting of "TCI-TSRI-Scopus Collaboration Project Phase 1-2" by the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) collaborated with the Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), the School of Energy, Environment and Materials at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi and the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC). The meeting was held at the Ambassador Hotel Bangkok, Wattana, Bangkok, Thailand.

The meeting aims to announce the project closure report of the TCI-TSRI-Scopus Collaboration Project Phase 1, to announce the detail and condition of the Funding for promoting the Thai Journal development in the TCI-TSRI-Scopus Collaboration Project Phase 2, as well as, to brainstorm the ways to develop the Thai journal quality.

We appreciated to announce that Journal of Health Science and Medical Research (JHSMR) has been accepted for including in the Scopus database (35th title of the TCI-TRF-SCOPUS Collaboration Project). 

Our editors-in-chief and editorial team would like to thank the TCI-TRF-SCOPUS Collaboration Project, Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI), and the local board for their kind advising and constructive feedback to JHSMR for improving our quality. Furthermore, we would like to express our gratitude to all former editors-in-chief, all former editorial boards for their dedication and hard working, together with Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University, Thailand.

We appreciated to announce that Journal of Health Science and Medical Research (JHSMR) was certified as an academic journal (Tier 1) according to the journal quality assessment result announcement round 4, Years 2020-2024 by the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI).

We would like to thank the executive board of the Prince of Songkla University for their kind support, the editorial board, past editors-in-chief, journal staffs, all reviewers as well as all authors of JHSMR for their gentle contribution.

On 10^th January 2020, Assoc. Prof. Surasak Sangkhathat (the editor of JHSMR) and Miss Pattama Malakul (an assistant manager of JHSMR) were invited to attend " The 13^th TCI Symposium on Thai Scholarly Journals ‘TCI 2020 : The 4th Round of Thai Journal Evaluation Result and Impact /Visibility of a Proposal Fast Track Indexing System‘" by the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) collaborated with the Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), the School of Energy, Environment and Materials King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi and the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) at the Royal Jubilee Ballroom, Challenger 2 Building, Impact Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi ,Thailand.

The meeting aims to announce the Results of the 4th Re-evaluation of Thai Journals in TCI database, to clarify the evaluation details, to guide the quality development for group promotion, and to propose and demonstrate the Fast-Track Indexing System (the system for import the article metadata to TCI Database).

On 9^th January 2020, Assoc. Prof. Jitti Hanprasertpong ( the editor-in-chief of JHSMR) was invited to attend "The 8^th TCI-TRF-Scopus Collaboration Project" by the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) at the Jupiter 4-5 Rooms, IMPACT Challenger, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi, Thailand.

The meeting aims to report the progress on TCI-TRF-Scopus Collaboration Project, to inform the criterion and guidance for the quality evaluation after entering the Scopus database (as well-known Scopus Re-evaluations) as well as guidelines for quality development and impact of academic journals to raise the quartile of the journals along with details of the international publication ethics from Prof. Dr. Peter Brimblecombe (the Scopus Subject Chair for Environmental Science).
